CAMPAIGN

Campaign
A Sculptural Intervention in Nature
Overview
This campaign explores the relationship between structure and landscape through a minimal, site-specific installation. Set within an open field, the work introduces a sculptural wooden form and a single vertical marker, allowing material, scale, and negative space to drive the narrative. Rather than imposing on the environment, the installation rests within it quiet, grounded, and deliberate.
Concept
The core idea was to create an object that feels both intentional and unresolved. By placing a low, horizontal wooden form directly on grass and pairing it with a solitary vertical pole, the composition creates tension between weight and lift, permanence and transience. The absence of people was a conscious decision. the work invites interpretation rather than instruction, allowing the viewer to engage with the piece on their own terms.
Location & Environment
The location was selected for its natural restraint. An open field bordered by trees and water provided a clean horizon and soft visual enclosure, free from architectural distractions.
The landscape functions as both backdrop and collaborator its textures, light, and scale shaping how the installation is read. No permanent alterations were made to the site; the work was designed to exist temporarily and leave no trace.
Installation & Materials
The installation consists of custom-fabricated wooden elements arranged directly on the ground. The wood was left largely untreated to preserve its natural tone and texture, reinforcing a sense of honesty and material presence. A slender, matte-black pole with a red horizontal arm introduces a single graphic gesture into the environment. Its verticality anchors the composition while remaining intentionally understated.
Every element was placed with precision, but allowed to feel slightly imperfect balancing control with natural variation.
Composition & Visual Approach
The image was captured in a wide, open frame that prioritizes negative space. The installation occupies the lower portion of the composition, while sky and landscape dominate the upper frame, reinforcing a sense of calm and spatial clarity. Soft daylight was used to avoid dramatic contrast, allowing textures and forms to remain legible without distraction. The result is an image that feels still, grounded, and quietly confident.
Outcome
The final campaign image functions as an invitation rather than a statement. It resists immediate explanation, encouraging viewers to pause and interpret the work through their own lens.
By blending sculptural form with an untouched landscape, the campaign establishes a visual language rooted in restraint, materiality, and intention setting the tone for a broader narrative without over-defining it.
